Busy week! Finally finished the Temple Guard, who has actually been almost done for most of the week -.-' procrastination is bad. Quite pleased with the outcome, though I feel he could be... brighter. I'm considering painted the skull on the next ones noggin like this: Well actually I can't seem to find a picture of exactly what I mean. This would be the closest. http://www.comanchemuseum.com/media/12265/buffalo skull.jpg Anyhoo Progress is being made on the mournfang too! Decided to go with the magnetised weapons route, so there we are. man, the custom img tags make it a real pain in the a$$ to post pictures here don't they :S
Looks prety good, but I think the shield arm needs the shoulder blended in a little better. But I love the paint schems, it's pure awesome.
Hmmm... I was just thinking that, if possible, paint up the Mornfangs as jaguars. (black jaguars would be easiest)
Hope so! I couldn't figure a way to get the engine of the gods in though - the real engine is far too big for a mournfang. I'll never be willing to forego the mountail of blowpipe shots anyway, so probably a moot point...
Great looking mournfang! I would paint him like a panther. Not sure that the mournfang has enough feline qualities though. Or, you could paint him like psychadelic jaguar! I can see that there isn't much room for a eotg, maybe you could do something in the lines I did. Mind though that the back piece on the steg isn't suposed to be a eotg, but maybe it can serve as some inspiration
Wow, these are really great! A real treat to see upon my return to this forum after taking almost a month off (just got married and went on a honeymoon). I give you a lot of credit for putting together a whole unit with such an elaborate paint scheme. I'm having trouble getting my Saurus done and all I have going on are some basic black stripes (although I am finally getting close now). Looking forward to seeing the whole unit done and based. I will be following this army as it develops
