Being completely new to Warhammer as a whole please forgive my ingnorance. My friend and I agreed to using one unit and a commander for our first match to get a feel for the game. I used 8 Saurus calv and a Old Blood on a Cold one as my commander he used 16 glade guard and Araloth as his commander. I went first moved (most)my units behind some terrain and passed turn. He was able to shoot with 6 total glade guards thankfully he only wounded one rider. I got too charge in and having the 3rd attack with the Cold Ones it was a bloodbath. We Wernt sure if he could shoot into combat bc the rules are vague so we allowed it. It didn't effect much bc I got lucky with my saves but over all it was fun and rather easy too pick up.
Also would his Galde guard been able too use their bows while I had units in close combat with them? Jw.
yea, they can now use ranged attacks at all times and all places. (into combat, out of combat, while in combat, etc...)
Ah ah ok that might of helped him out a good amount then. One more ? After I attack with my weapon go they get too attack back then I get too attack with powerful jaws and shield or is it I make my attacks then they make their attacks?
Awesome! At least we did that part right haha. Thanks very much! Any tips are greatly appreciated. That 20 range on the glade gaurd is annoying.
I noticed lol. That is part of why I opted for the calv so I could close the gap quicker (and they're all I have assembled and painted bc I'm a slacker)
