    Thanks rychek :)

Scalenex, you're right, but I ment to compare more like theyr characteristics and nature than theyr style on the battlefield.

:: Rise of the Razordons ::

Oooh, I have had so bad WH -fever lately that I can't even think anything but Lizardmen stuff ! I've wanted to paint soooo bad, and I'm planning also to convert my very own Salamanders, 'cause I don't like their own model. But of course I won't tell you what models I'm going to use, I'll left that as a surprise... ;>

Anyways, here are my barbed children of the jungles:

    Lizz30_zps3cf26c97.jpg

Ladies first, as they say. This one above is my female Razordon, she has shorter barbs and less orange than my male Razordon here:

    Lizz29_zpsdb532205.jpg

... And both of them together...

You can't tell it from these pics but I tried to make their bases "blend" together by adding same colored tufts and stuff.

I'm happy to hear what you guys think of them! :)

Very nice razordons! The orange really makes them more interesting to look at than just bone white. Any hints on the base model for the sallie mod?

Very cool looking Razordon couple! I think the spiky lizard beast is one of the most difficult models in our army to come up with a paint scheme. Yours is very striking and unique, while not looking goofy. Great job!

Thanks all ! I'm happy to hear that my scheme for Razordons pleases your eye :) It was pretty improvised, I had no idea for them when I started painting! I just knew that I wanted something with high contrast and yellow.~

rychek: Models I'm going to use are GW's, that's all I'll tell you ;)

    :: Skink Chief WIP ::

Hi fellow cold-blooded ones! My WH-fever hasn't stopped and I have been busy with doing some inventory past days. Our apartment is actually taken over by the Lizardmen... They just seem to have conquered our whole living room and some regiments are investigating the floor and my Stegadon is roaming around the coffee table with some unfinished Terradons~

I started today my first experiment with green stuff. I'm going to do my own Skink Chief character: Nka Qu'itt. Here's his build I have used few times pretty succesfully:

    Nka Qu'itt
    - terradon mount
    - light armour, shield
    - spear
    - Staff of the Lost Sun
    - Seed of Rebirth

    total 138pts

    Lizz33_zps7c316bc2.jpg
    Lizz32_zps70d51824.jpg

I'm also going to convert my own Staff of the Lost Sun and put it on his back. I started it today by doing some sketches of the Staff and worked a little with its sun representing circle around the skull.

Please tell me what do you think of my work so far :>

    Re: Sealterbloind's Paint Log

Thanks bonz. I really have struggled with my paint scheme, and there's still few troops that I haven't figured out (TG for example), but actually I have kind of slipped to the black-yellow-red-orange -scheme. :) I'll do much variation of those colors so they suit on other jungle beasts like my Razordons there with orange and yellow on their spikes~

I'm not surprised that you haven't notice my plog before. I haven't updated it so often ^^"...

Thanks Anomic :) I've very pleased that b&w -lizard too, I thought I'll use that combination on my Oldblood.

I'll but few pictures here of my own sculpt Kroxigor model soon and I'll try to manage to continue my Staff of the Lost Sun too.~

Looking forward to more! Going to go back and read this from the beginning!

The white saurus with the orange scales was really cool, btw....I realize my opinion on this is coming quite late ;)

:: Army of Tlaxtlan - The Blood Moon ::

Hello ! So I've been working with my Saurus unit lately and I finally got it ready yesterday! ^^ I have decided to do Tlaxtlan's army which I named the Blood Moon (because of the main color scheme of the Saurus). I also wanted to do a reeeeally unique army, and I made my own fluff (which I'll post here when it's ready).

Biggest thing is that my army's obsinite is bonewhite, and that's why everyone in Tlaxtlan calls it "moonstone" rather than "obsinite", and that colored obsinite is for some unknown reason only found in Tlaxtlan. Maybe the great Old Ones has had some purpose for that, who knows...~

But anyway, here's my Saurus unit:

    Lizz36_zpsa0d918f0.jpg
    Lizz37_zpsad6e5e09.jpg

And I wanted to do some movement into the unit so I converted this fellow:

    Lizz44_zpsfb3baee1.jpg

My command group has get it's colors from some venomous snakes I like. Can you guess what they are?

I definitely like the color scheme. As far as the snake reference goes, I was thinking you had confused milk and coral snakes until I saw the belly with the red and yellow. Am I right with coral snake or am I way off?

rychek, you're right, my musician has got it's colors from eastern ribbon coral snake, my champion got his own color variation from red-spotted garter snake and my standard bearer has the colors of a yellow bellied sea snake. :) I love especially that last one ~!
