I've noticed on my phone, and even my tablet, that when making a new post you have to select one picture at a time. Is it possible for admins to change this? Would be far more enjoyable and time saving to be able to select multiple pictures at a time. Not sure if it's possible but feel it should be looked into
That would be nice. I thought it was previously possible on the laptop to multiselect, but it isn't any more. Grrr, Imrahil
This is true. I remember being able to multi-select as well. It was a real time saver when uploading multiple pictures within in a post.
I can drag up to 10 photos onto the message field, select "insert thumbnail" and add them all at the same time... Can you not do this?
I haven't tried dragging on my tablet/computer, but from the phone (which i 90% of the time post from) I can only do 1 file at a time. Would also be nice to be able to post videos
I made myself a YouTube logon so I could upload videos I want to post and then link to this. Works well
I also have a YouTube and Instagram, i do at times link to my IG to videos. I don't really like doing it though, it feels like I'm fishing for Likes or Follwers which isn't the purpose of my blog. I'd like the ability to link directly to my blogs here to be more "in house" and community oriented. It might just be more a personal preference, maybe it doesn't bother others as much as me, I dunno. If it's not possible that's one thing, but if it is I think it should be looked into
Yeah, from a pc you can upload multiple pictures. From a phone IDK, I don't recall I've ever tried it.
Yeah, you certainly cannot upload multiple from a phone. Is that something that can be looked into (including videos)? I'm sure their are many people like myself who upload primarily from our phones
That is the default behavior for file integration in the browser. The forum is loaded as a website on mobile as well since we do not have a native app. It might be possible to get around the limitation, but unfortunately at the time, this is not a high priority. As others mentioned, if you post by mobile, you could upload the images right after taking them, at that point they would be at the top of your file list view. (I know, not what you asked about, but a workaround) An updated version of the forum is in the works, but I am not sure when it will be ready. This is a net loss project and since the current forum works, the new version has a low priority on my side.
