Sounds awesome! Looks like that's at least 2 of the Start Collecting boxes right? Can't wait to get my first one done.

Thanks, yeah I'm up to two Start Collecting boxes now, a box of Saurus Guard and fifteen additional Guard bodies that I got here - http://www.ebay.ca/itm/WARHAMMER-BITS-SERAPHON-SAURUS-GUARD-BODIES-x15-/371760322279 - as you get enough spare parts in the box to make an additional 9 models right away and buying a second box will give you 45 guys now saving around $45 Canadian to spend on other stuff like the Eternity Warden. Bonus point was that the Guard box also came with 20 bases instead of just 15!

I'm also deep in to my conversion work on the Oldblood on foot using the left over pieces they give you for the foot guy (just wish they gave us two bodies) and the regular Carnosaur tail (I gave my Oldblood's Carnosaur the Troglodon tail) to replace his missing body. Not looking forward to all the green stuff work I'm going to have to do to fill in all the void areas but he'll look amazing when it's done! After that I have a Skink Priest and Troglodon conversions queued up all using the left over parts from the two Start Collecting boxes. If you have Instagram I post everything there as I do it - https://www.instagram.com/bensnowclark/?hl=en - I did try making a YouTube channel and videoing things but found that to be both a lot of work just on the video side of things and also enjoyment sucking. Posting here and on Instagram is much simpler.

I really love the look of that mini though. I haven't experimented with green stuff yet, bought one of the Citadel pots since I didn't know any better. I have a feeling I'll need to be using it for my Seraphon. Especially some of the gaps in the Carno model.

Looking forward to seeing the rest!

Thanks yeah the liquid green stuff is great for filling small gaps or smoothing things like the drum skin on the Warriors drums but I'll be using the two part putty for this guy, it's harder and more of a modelling material. I'll look forward to seeing you put together your stuff!

Is it as easy as applying it, smoothing it out, and letting it dry overnight and you're ready to prime/paint? Or more steps to it? Thanks again for the help. ;)

As simple as that. Don't know how long it truly takes to dry, I'm sure some probably paint it in hours but yeah I'd leave it overnight. I did find when filling a larger crack on my Carnosaur that it worked better with an initial fill and then a second layer to actually fix the crack.

A little more work on the Oldblood this evening, you wouldn't believe how long it took to carve the small and I do mean small chunks of sprue holding his arm in place! Once it's set I need to add another small piece to brace it better and then it'll be adding the body/tail, at that point he'll be 90% done just waiting for greenstuff then, that'll elevate him to one of a kind status. THIS is why I love our hobby, taking spare parts that are normally useless by themselves and making an entire new model from them. Something that no-one else has, that is truly yours.
