Hey, it is very clear that a whole lot of work has gone into these guys, and it is impressive. Playing with armies painted with such care always enhances the game. At the core comp tournament this weekend you had 50+ incredibly painted armies. It's like being at a temporary art gallery. It has to give you a great feeling to see your army arrayed on a table just as the game is about to begin!
I converted up my Terradon Chief today. Sorry - it's not the greatest picture ever, but I think you can tell what's going on.
Very well done, is that the staff of the lost sun he's got there? Also love the use of the BA shield on a skink!
Those TG have got to be the greenest lizards I have ever seen... even the metal parts are tinged green... Very nice job on them and the Carno!
Wow very cool carnosaur! I like it. Are the TG work in progress? Because the bone areas appear very pale, I think they could do with a bit more shading.
There's my Slann. I've been talking about it for a while, but only just started on it about a week ago. The conversion solves the stupid flying stand problem, plus it looks quite cool, imo. I also like the 'horned toad' look that I went with on the Slann himself.
I Eagerly await more Slann Pictures.... Could you do a Higher Resolution pic? I want to check out your Horned Toad Head. Is that some kind of Clay you sculpted to the model?
I love your Carnosaur mate, I've been thinking of a similar scheme for my Saurus cav. Thanks for the inspiration! Even though I'm not sure if I'll take my Carnosaur in small games, I'm going to paint mine purple and call him Barney!
Started painting my Slann. This is about 4 hours in, and I've got a lot of work to do still. Haven't even started the palanquin yet.
