hey, i am just restarting the hobby.
and one of my first conversions wil be a Tetto'eko model
personaly i love this caracter and i think he deserves his own model.

my own version wil be a conversion of my old 5th edition slann, or at least his palenquin.
witch i wil convert so that it is being carried bij 4 skinks instead of the old saurus, i know in the fluff it says that he makes it float but i like the idea of heb being carried ( i mean he's ancient he's like a 1000 years old?)
    he deserves to be carried!

for the people who don't remember the old slann/palenquin here's a picture:

i will be posting pictures as soon as i get this project on the way

yes indeed but al the old models look kinda weird i think compared to the new models.
but i think the palanquin is just perfect for a skink.

it's a carracter from the lizardmen army book
he's a skink priest and over a 1000 years old and he is the astromancer of the constelations.
he's granted a palanquin by the slann lords becouse he's so old
it's a nice carracter and the idea of a skink priest on a palanquin is just cool.

as an update on the topic: i am converting the spare chief from the stegadon kit at this moment.
i'm trying to make him sit ( on his knees to be specific.) and then i'm gona give him one of the spare warspears from the same kit witch wil be converted into his stellar staff, the only thing i havend figured out is his left arm witch i want to hold the eye of the old ones, so i was thinking of some sort of glass sphere or somthing??

Sounds like an interesting character, does anyone have any pictures of him?

Had a flick through my army book and couldn't find a mention of him, is he an addition in the newer book?

In my book there are Lord Mazdamundi, Nakai the Wanderer, Tehenhauin who is the Sotek prophecy chap, Lord Kroak and Kroq-Gar.

If you could use a small wire to hold up a ball of green stuff or something so it looks like it's floating above his hand that would be pretty sick. Maybe have some flames coming off it or something...

I think you should convert a brave to look like Chakax. That would definitely be pretty comical to see on the battle field. Also, don't forget the skink's toad attendant!

i'm not sure but i think he is new in the latest book
and sadly there are no pictures of him.
but on the other hand this gives us total freedom on his conversion.

in the new army book he's on page 69

man, you should definitely tie off some heads hanging from those horns. Vines, ropes, charms or something!

It looks good sofar. Maybe put it against a darker background when you take more pictures, something that contrasts with the lighter grey/metal since it's not yet painted.

Have you tried "makro" mode? Cameras have problem to focus on the objects laid too close to objective. This is solved with "makro". You can focus on close objects (3-6 cm distance I think). Or you can maybe try to take a shot from greater distance and then cut the image in some photo editor.

(sorry for my English... I hope you understand what I had in mind ;))
