Hi there. First post here. I've been a lizardmen collector from around 6th ed of Warhammer Fantasy Battle. I've recently got back to the game thanks to Caleb Hastings YT channel. His films (somehow) motivated me to take attention to Age of Sigmar (again). Following pictures are my first few painted models from a long slumber. It took me around 2 weeks from start to finish. There is also Gor-Rok in painting progress, but it will finish hip in November. As for November plans, I'll try to paint my first batch of Skinks (10 - 30). Hope you like it.

Very nice. That lovely purple/crimson shadow reminds me a bit of how I saw Marco Frisoni paint this warband. Well done!

Welcome around!

Great to see that Youtube channels get people (back) to the hobby (@Caleb ex nihilo ;) )
You clearly have a deal of experience in painting models, That is an awesome warband :artist::artist:
Intrigued to see Gor-Rok and all your future models.

There is also Gor-Rok in painting progress, but it will finish hip in November. As for November plans, I'll try to paint my first batch of Skinks (10 - 30). Hope you like it.

We run a thread to keep each other motivated in our monthly painting goals

Keep up the good work

I was trying to find him on Instagram to tag his account, but I wasn't able to do it.

As for Gor-Rok you will see him in near future, he's almost completed.

Few last pictures of the band plus painted Starseer.

The last question I have: skinks assembly with blowpipes and what else?

Those priests are so gorgeous :artist::artist::artist:

There are quite some threads on the tactics subforum about this. Not sure on AoS 3.0 though.
Personally I went with blowpipes and shields (still need painting ).

These are fantastic!

And welcome to Jurassic Park!!!

Hello, hello. Recently I've completed Saurus Sunblood previously
known as Gor-Rok. It's one of a few models in my collection in a Finecast resin from GW. Metal models weren't so bad after looking at this material. It took me much effort and time to well clean and prepare this model. There were gaps and even some missing muscles. Terrible quality.

As for the painting scheme, I've used a similar formula to my Starblood Stalkers Warband. The only difference is that I added grey at the end of the mixture.

I don't know if he's playable or not. I just had to paint him.

Hope you like it and till next time. Take care.

Ps: I've also had an Instagram account, where I put more pictures of painted models. Here's a link: www.instagram.com/gimiakshobby

This is really great work mate. Well done.

Really exquisite work! Love your Lizardmen and how well the photos are staged.

I did not notice the gobbo gunner on the top of that mega-armored ork before, thats a great touch :D

Thx. As for gobbo, I have a problem with new grots heads. They are less funny than before.I was very skeptical about that little thing but in the end, it comes nice.
