New to Seraphon and AOS in general. Wanted to know what everyone thought of this list. I have been playing skaven so it just seems like low body count to me but that’s just me lol Seraphon Realm:Hysh Constellation: Coalesced/Koatl’s claw Battalions: Sunclaw Temple-Host Leaders Saurus Scar-Veteran on Carnosaur - War Spear (General) Ct: Dominant Predator Artifact: Eviscerating Blade Saurus Oldblood on Carnosaur Artifact: Aetherquartz Brooch Saurus Astrolith Bearer Slang Starmaster Spell: Stellar Tempest Battleline Saurus warriors x30 (spears) Saurus warriors x20 (clubs) Saurus warriors x20 (clubs) Units Salamander Hunting Pack x8 Saurus Knights x10 (lances) I don’t know of I should go clubs or spears on the saurus. Was also considering dropping the battalion for another set of 10 Knights (but I hear the brooch is really good) also thought 2 units of 30 saurus 15 knights 3 kroxigor or 3 ripperdactyle and a CP. thanks for the help in advance
always go spears on a unit bigger then 10 getting twice as many attacks in(fighting 2 ranks deep) is better over all then -1 rend. as for the list i would drop the second carnasuar and the astrolith for a sunblood a starpriest and pushing one of the warrior blocks up to 30 so you have 30 30 20 the atherquarts broach is very good for koatl getting a CP back on a 4+ and a 5+ on your general is great
Ok I can see why a sun blood and starpriest would be good. I like the big bulk dinos but your idea mite be better I just know from watching a few battlereports I liked how the 2 carno worked
carnasuars are great misses but you need the buffs to make them work. the same with warriors.one of these days ill figur out a way to get 4 carnasuars in a list but untill then im sticking to one
If you're going support go old blood if you're going damaged then scar veteran with a sword of Japan or the eviscerating blade
I think these are great suggestions. With Sunclaw i'd maximize the damage you're doing within an inch. So much of your damage comes from the bites. Without a skink priest i prefer the rend unless you're at 40. With the knights, i'd definitely add the skinkpriest tho. It's one of those things i think you just have to get a feel for in practice. See what you prefer. The 1'' range can be a real pain in the ass when it comes to piling in. Also i like the Scar Vet/Sunblood combo personally. 2 hits on 6's is roughly equivalent to +1 to hit and the scar vet is cheaper. IMO i'd run the list as is and go from there. Make tweaks based on what you do or do not like the feel of as you use it.
