This is kind of the list Ive been thinking for an upcoming tournament. Im not sure if just taking the 5 knights is enough or if I should be bumping them to 10 and dropping the sunblood, though I feel his buff is pretty important to taking the bloodclaw. I haven't been having a lot of luck against my frequent ironjawz opponent taking my previous lists so I thought Id try something with a bit more punch. I feel I'm going to miss my bastillodon though. Leaders Saurus Scar-Veteran on Carnosaur (260) - General - Greatblade - Trait: Legendary Fighter - Artefact: Quicksilver Potion Saurus Oldblood on Carnosaur (320) - Artefact: Quicksilver Potion Saurus Eternity Warden (140) Saurus Scar-Veteran on Cold One (100) Saurus Sunblood (120) Skink Starpriest (100) Battleline 10 x Saurus Guard (200) 10 x Saurus Guard (200) 5 x Saurus Knights (120) - Lances 10 x Saurus Warriors (100) - Spears Units 5 x Chameleon Skinks (120) 1 x Salamanders (60) 1 x Salamanders (60) Battalions Bloodclaw Starhost (100) Total: 2000/2000
I assume the Scarno is not in the bloodclaw, great looking list, but I would probably drop the warriors for another salamander and some handlers.
Id feel a little short on bodies then I think, the warriors are really just there as a screen/objective holding unit. I was considering dropping the eternity warden for more warrriors in fact, but I'm not sure. This list plays a lot different to what Im used to. Im not sure I need more bodies on the board or not. Are the units of 5 knights worth it? Or do I need more for them to have a decent punch?
He 5 knight could be exchanged for more chameleons, same body count, adds a little more threat and board control.
