Finally some Lizard work again!!! (That was why I joined this community in the first place ) I have been working a lot with foam lately, so I finally decided on filling up the Astrolith Banner. The circles ended up smaller than I expected them to be, so the Glyphs did not turn out close to readable Perhaps I will try a new layout later. Grrr, Imrahil
That is good work with the standard bearer! I also tried using foam during my initial attempt at building one too but it didn't turn out so good... I switched gears and instead resin cast a drink coaster I had on hand from a trip to some Mayan ruins in Mexico. Make sure that base is weighted with some clay or something, you have a round base so that should help. Mine kept falling over!

I honestly never realised that until now that I've inspected the GW pictures of the models closely, because the fact the mouths are still sculpted on makes you think they're not wearing any such covering and they wear only a helmet. Obviously Gondor either have had blessings from Grandfather Nurgle in the past or have received the news about COVID early...
