January Painting Pledge!

Okay, here is the new version of the 300 point club! Here's how it works:
At the beginning of each month, you pledge to paint something, model something, make some terrain, or really, do anything hobby-related.
At the end of the month, post here that you have completed it along with a picture (optional, but who doesn't like showing off their work, right?). A roster will be kept so we can all see who has completed the most pledges.

• Teh Rulez
• All pledges must be posted in bold in this thread, so that I can easily keep track of who has pledged what.
• All pledges must be hobby-related. It doesn't matter if it's 40K, Fantasy, or even something lame like Warmachine or Flames of War.
• There is no limit to the size of the pledge. Anything from a lonely Skink to a full regiment is fine.
• Pictures are encouraged, but not necessary.
• Entries used for similar things on other forums are still acceptable, provided you completed it in the month you pledged to do it.

THREE TERRADONS AND AN ANCIENT STEG... once done my 2250 will be fully painted! Not bad for less than half a year

 

Dudes... I wasn't going to make an allegiance here. But hell. The month is half done and mostly I am either drunk or hungover, so its hard to paint. But I now have fresh absinth for inspiration. I plan to paint Chakax, and start on my beginners guide to LM (fully illustrated) with saurus warriors.

Just in case I don't get it done, BOOBS!!!!!! Now you will all read that and forget the ret of my post so i am safe! How smart is me.

I pledge to Paint at least 10 Saurus Warriors.

 

I busted my butt this week. I didn't think I would get them done so quickly. They are not based yet, so I'll make that my goal now I suppose. My basing material is in the mail (actually UPS) as we speak and due here on the 21st or 22nd.

I run Lizardmen with a desert theme.

As you all know, the Copper Desert on the Southwest portion of Lustria holds the Chasm of the Condor as one of the few passes through the Spine of Sotek Mountains. This spawning of Lizardmen was no doubt planned by the Old Ones to not only to guard the Desert and the pass, but also to recover artifacts plundered by the warmbloods in dry and arid areas wherever and whenever the need arises.

The paint scheme is based on the San Luis Potosi Kingsnake found in the Chihuahua Desert in Mexico. The shield is a desert tortoise shell.

I overshot and made 11 of them. I have 7 more plus the full command group to do for next month, I suppose! Here they are.

 

Ooh, have you ever thought about doing sandy bases on those?

 

They look really cool. I agree though, get those bases done and desert would look cool.

 

This is why I am waiting to base them and the basing material is in the mail. I ordered some fine grit and will be using arid static grass.

After seeing the complexity of the Temple Guard kit, I've decided i'll need to amend my pledge.
I will finish my EoTG Howdah, and assemble and prime 20 TG and paint a test model
