If you argue like this 99% of our book is bullshit. But that is not what i am trying to say, i dont think you actually want to understand me. I said Kroxigors are better than every other unit in our book against hordes and better against hordes than all these units you mentioned. Just look at their statline. Now you come up with new units. There is EVERYTIME something better, even than hearthguard, evocs etc.
Ripperdactyls are better vs hordes than Kroxigor.
All this being said, I do still believe that Kroxigor have play in them. My first comment on this thread was:
If Krox cost 120 points I would use them in half my list. However, like most units in our book, they are over costed.
ok the same cost worth of stegadons ripperdactles and razordons do the same or more damage against against 6+ save hordes and all of them have utility beond that and can fight things other then hords and do well(in the context of seraphon)
With Stealthy advance no problem yes. But i know they are decent with the battalion and summoning allows us to get them even more to the frontline.
I mean. I wasn't normally able to make use of Stealthy Advance. You can't leave them dangling out in the open. Rippers are most often at their peak turn 2 or 3, so if you SA then you will frequently be throwing them away. But yes, the Battalion adds a lot of utility to the unit. Much the same way TQ makes Krox better.
You and your 6+ safe... man. and i wouldnt waste my rippers like i said, cause they can kill all units, so i would play kroxis for this niche cause they are made for it. rippers are more like assassins for the key units. Sure you wouldnt play both in one list cause no points left but thats just theory right. Razordons? super random. Stegadon no argument like i said earlier. But i believe we could say we will never come to a 100% agreement. And that is totally fine. Some people believe in our units others dont. I just hope i didnt make too much bad blood
ok we can measure against a higher save i usually use 4+ but krokigors do a lot worse then. the 6+ save is there to make your argument as strong as possible sooo do you realy want me to change it?
eh no teradons are our assassins ripper don't do well against a 3+ save and no opponent worth his salt will let you drop 6 rippers neer a key model but if they did that would only make rippers a stronger option as they can do both as needed

Agreed. I like all post about tactics, theorycraft, list building, unit evaluations, ect. There are no bad comments or blood

i think i mentioned why i dont like the stegadon in this case, see, i can go on an on but i have to stop xD need to paint more lizards for the upcoming Prague Open GT ;D maybe i will post my funny list one day and you both can prove to me why it is shit ;D

At the moment Knights are probably our best battleline. They are basically faster than skinks, cost only 10 pts more then them, are less sensible to battleshock, are more resilient and can kill something, while skinks die (or flee) to 10 skeletons. And they unlock Dracothion's Tail, which is maybe our strongest battalion.
I really wonder what kind of games do you play.
yes i dare. i was there wizard. i was there when the dark one entered our world i was the first to great him with open arms and i was the first to face him in combat... and the last. i failed to see him for what he was and the world is poorer for it.
well i just wish we could get MW not only on charges and a 4+ safe. I recently played at a 1000 pts tournament with 25 knights, carno, scar vet on cold one and a starpriest, just because i love the knights, and the models aswell (i know i might be the only person on earth who thinks that way). skink are superior because of their ability to fall back imo still one of the coolest things ever. you can screen even more or block other units off. knights just cant to it that way. skink dont need to kill, knight do kind off but are very unreliable.
I do love DT. I still skinks are literally the best warscroll in our battletome though
