Hello boys and girls and welcome to Let's Get Motivated - March 2022 This thread is too get us motivated each month into finishing projects that we have on the go, the rules are fairly simple. At the start of the month post what you intend to try and finish this month, it can be models/terrain/conversions of any game type. No pressure if you don't finish anything this is for motivation nothing else. Around the middle of the month post your progress, no images please, if you have want to share your progress with images, upload them into your blog and supply a link. Around the end of the month post your progress, again no images, if you have finished a piece upload the images into your blog and supply a link. The reason I don't want images in this thread is too get everyone that takes part views in their personal blog where the community can critique, etc. You don't have a paint blog? well get one started in this forum section. If you need advice etc. post here and the community will try and answer. I'm looking forward to seeing everyone share their progress Grrr, Imrahil
March goals: Finish painting and basing my 2nd Salamander hunting pack. Anything else is a bonus. Edited to remove my goal of finishing some TG too. Not going to happen this month lol
March goals: 1. Getting some progress done on a painting commission. 2. New conversions with the newest wargames Atlantic products. I get them in for the store, may as well play around a bit. 3. More alt-history romans
My plans for february are simple, I want to finish the rest of nighthaunt warband and post them on my blog. I also decided to put a pin in my skinks as im just not satisfied with their paintjob.
My goals for March are: - Finish painting a Orruk Ironjawz Gor-Grunta - Have a Game Night with my brother - Continuing work on Scenery This will be it for now Grrr, Imrahil
Hey guys, for March I just join a escalation league for 40K so hopefully this will get the engine going again!! - combat patrol space rangers!! - start what ever next model I’ll choose!!
Okay, I'd like to (gulp) finish at least 6 of my K'Daai Fireborn including basing. I am trying to discipline myself to finish painting this unit (I have 12 in total) before I start putting together my next project (Bull Centaurs) which are already waiting in the wings.
Correction those are my plans for march. I should add to my plans to check my message 3 Times before uploading it and maby figure out how to get a time machine to finish them in february
My fickle side has kicked in - giving Jain Zar a break and have started building the SC BCR box. This was an unwanted gift for my Niece that she didn't get on with so I got it for free xD I'll update my blog
Since I'm going on holiday this month, the to-do list is a bit shorter. I will assemble my second MSU Skinks and start painting them.
Progress report: 1. I've got 10 models primed. now comes painting inspiration. 2. done, moved on. 3. plans changed, 10mm lizardmen have come about and are now fun priority. I follow the dopamine.
My goals for March were: Finish painting and basing my 2nd Salamander hunting pack. Anything else is a bonus. I finished painting the Salamander and skink runners, I based the skinks too. Unfortunately I couldn't finish the base for the Salamander in time as I was waiting on some skeleton bits. I did also manage to build and slightly convert 2 units of Commando Droids for SW Legion though. I still can't seem to find my rhythm with painting and I'm only managing the odd session here and there. Guess I've just got to keep trying and hope it comes back.
I'm really close on both projects. Kroak's chair is done, Kroak himself is almost done, and I still have to paint the skink dude hanging out next to him. The stegadon is almost built into subassemblies, aside from a few pieces on the skink riders. As for my next project, I'll think I'm going to finish the last six members Blood Bowl Orcs team.
My goals were few, but my hobbytime this month was even fewer(less?) I only made some progress on the scenery building. Hope to be done with the bathroom soon and store out my hobby stuff on the workbench again. Grrr, Imrahil
