They glue back together relatively well unless they are in a million pieces. Any luck on that front?

OPR models. But I had them stuffed in drawer with plenty of other things and just stuffed stuff aside when I was searching for something. This one is completely my fault.

    Edit:
Not in my experience. I had second chief with broken leg and is was like glueing pieces of glass.

Oh, absolutely like glass. They fracture in similar ways, but there is a large molded contact point for superglue to grip onto at least. I have never had any issues with it rebreaking in the same place (cyanoacrylate is just stronger than resin), but I can understand it not being worth it if it shatters into too many tiny pieces. Had to reglue the legs onto my Telemon Dreadnought at least 3 times iirc (it wasn't the model's fault, I just need to stop manhandling resin models when I am tired).

Hoo boy, do I get this. One of the reasons I try to avoid resin is because I'm too ham-handed to handle it gently enough. :(

It's not that it shattered to many pieces, but when i put thin superglue and try to put them together, they slide like ice and I can't find proper position. Result is most of the time that I have to get more glue and then there is already separation line visible...
    Excuses, excuses...
Since I wanted to drown them in isopropyl anyway, I think that it would be easier to just get new ones added to something I want to get printed in future.

The knights are almost finished, they just need some final touches, shading and details.
I started the priest on the day I posted this and haven't touched it since :p
I gave up on the warriors for now. They are all over the place in terms of how finished they are, and I have little motivation to really sort them.

I've built yet more romans, instead of getting painting done.

In my defence, my room is a whirlwhind as i am cleaning and reorganizing so i (hopefully) will have a floor.

at which point i may be able to give a few hours to the desk.

Cleaning and reorganizing is done however I have found a new conversion project to start. So I'm going to wander off on that until family arrives.

Does anyone want to pick a primary and secondary color that are complementary for a lizard man paint scheme?

Other than green please, as I paint my undead in a green based scheme across all factions.

Hmm, if we are going literal for primary and secondary colours I say orange and blue. If we are just talking about a main and backup colour, let's get wierd with goldenrod and black!

I read the stories in the Short-Story competition and loved them, great read on all of them!

    - finish painting 5 skinks with blowpipe (shields and bases left to do)
    - finish painting 4 Mordor Orcs

    - finish some Gondor Scenery I started last month
    - Specify plans I have for more Gondor Scenery

    - Have a game night with my brother to start/testplay our new campaign

    - Read and vote on the Short-Story competition(write some form of review as well)

    - And of course the workshop that I gave

    Grrr, !mrahil

I will be at work just one day of November, so it is safe to say that I will not manage to finish anything else.

This was successful month, but then again, bar was set pretty low.
I managed to glue shields onto stegadon skink chief and degrease it for priming, now the endless wait for better weather is upon me.
Salamanders, knights and skinks were most time consuming task of this month, but thanks to preshading it, all took only about two weeks worth of lunchbreaks as I mostly stopped hobbying at home.
Temple guards are broken, so they are out of list for now.
My tanks... oh my tanks :D I remembered why they are not done yet. I started using oil washes on my FOW vehicles long time ago and unfortunately I can't use that at home since it smells for about five days till it is fully dry. I already asked friend who is deputy at local scale modeller club and I am now gathering courage to ask at home for permission to be missing once a week. :D
And on bright side, I started working on my saurus warriors and remaining saurus knights.

edit: Typing errors, because speed-typing it on my phone while quickly grabbing a smoke on balcony is a bad idea for grammar :D

1 Admiral Miniatures Chaos Dwarf Slaver: Completed!
1 Admiral Miniatures Animated Statue of Ancient Times: Completed!
3 Bolt Action WWII North Africa Commonwealth Soldiers: Completed!
Academy Models: The Cutty Sark: Hull and top deck built

    Paint:
5 Punga Miniatures Pi-rats: One Completed!
1 Admiral Miniatures Chaos Dwarf Slaver: Completed!
1 Admiral Miniatures Animated Statue of Ancient Times:
3 Bolt Action WWII North Africa Commonwealth Soldiers: One Completed!
Academy Models: The Cutty Sark: Copper plating on Hull basecoated and washed
    3 Italeri Prussian Cuirassiers: Completed!

    Base:
    5 Punga Miniatures Pi-rats: (5 V.V.P.s) -
    1 Admiral Miniatures Chaos Dwarf Slaver: (1 V.V.P.s) –
1 Admiral Miniatures Animated Statue of Ancient Times: (1 V.V.P.s) –

Didn't achieve as much as I had wanted, but at least I managed to paint at least one model from each of the makes (other than the Cutty Sark...)

Hats off (literally) to @Karak Norn Clansman for the superb Slaver of Ancient Times, the detail work was the most intricate of all the models I attempted to paint this month. I'm not quite sure I did it enough justice, but I will see about uploading pics soon here and on CDO.

I was also quite impressed with the decent detail level on the Bolt Action minis, the one I painted I think I got done to a nice standard.

And I must mention how crisp the Punga Pi-rat was to paint, even if it meant painting yellow again...

The knights are in a similar shape although basically done (without basing). I want to redo the silver metalics that I had originally chose, with gold and black but other than that are done.
I gave up on the other two tasks :p The second half of the month was surprisingly busy.
