And done. Also current state of the order of the Bloody Rose. Yes, the client did request a messy blood pattern on the blade.
1. 4 more bloodletters done. 2. After I finished, I got a message from the commissioner asking for the horns to be jet black. @Crowsfoot any recommendations for a dtrastra black paint? @Aginor @NIGHTBRINGER too
Black horns, you need to be careful they don’t turn grey. I would do them reverse so black at the tips blending down to cream at the base.
Painting them pure black will probably not look good because black tends to swallow details. I would at least softly drybrush the horns with a middle grey.
It's a pretty basic "colour", I don't think it really matters all that much. Just pick up a black paint in whatever brand you most prefer.
Any black but, GW black is pure black Scale 75 is dead matt and grey/black, I love it Highlight with Dark reaper for black/blue tint Highlight with skavendinge grey for black/grey
I think on big models like that your better off using transfers and then applying details with a brush around them.
Basecoated made.getting closer to a finished knight. After this is done I'll be at 135 so far for the year.
