    A baptism by fire indeed. Fire seems crazy challenging to paint, let alone models made almost entirely of fire. They look really good so far. Well done!

    Most impressive from a novice (or at least novice since a decade or two ago) painter! I wish I'd painted my first models as well as yours. As it was, I felt compelled to touch them up years later. If you feel the urge to do the same, it'll be a sign of how much you've progressed ;)

    I don't recall anything in the game ever being based on a 50X150mm base.

    My Bull Centaurs are based on 50X75mm bases. I'm fairly certain that is correct, but I could be mistaken (I hope not, because I've spent a lot of time crafting them custom built bases!).
