Hi all! I'm wondering if x2 Stormdrake Guard are now a better ally than a Celestant Prime?
I'm mainly thinking about Coalesced and Thunder Lizards.
Has anyone else thought about it?
My current list has been added below.

Separately. if I don't include either of these alloes ally then plan B could be to just run x2 MSU kroxigor with sallies behind for buffs instead. maybe that would be less complex

    My list currently is;

    Allegiance: Seraphon
    - Constellation: Thunder Lizard
    - Grand Strategy: Prized Sorcery
    - Triumphs:
    Skink Priest (80) - heal
Engine of the Gods (265) - fusil and curse
Slann Starmaster (265) - arcane might and celestial apotheosis
    20 x Skinks (150) pipes and shields
    10 x Skinks (75) pipes and shields
    10 x Skinks (75) pipes and shields
    2 x Salamander Hunting Pack (280)
    1 x Salamander Hunting Pack (140)
    2 x Stormdrake Guard (340) - Drakerider's Lance
    Bastiladon with Solar Engine (250)
    Emerald Lifeswarm (60)

    Total: 1980 / 2000
    Reinforced Units: 2 / 4
    Allies: 0 / 400
    Wounds: 109
Drops:2? Battle regiment and Stormdrskes drop separately.

Personally I don't think either of them are worth in coalesced. Losing out on a unit with -1 damage is just kind of rough. Prime is strong for targeted mortals, high rend and high damage. Thunder lizard lists usually dont suffer in any of those areas and you can use a unit of chamos to fill that "deepstrike" slot.

I personally just think seraphon units are already so efficient, it hurts to lose out on allegiance abilities. With that said, dragons are definitely strong and add a lot to any army they are in. For sure worth a try.

Think we had the same conversation on the discord ;)

Thanks for the input! It does also seem to come down to which you might be most comfortable with, according to how you tend to play. Totally agree you'd like to maximise the allegiance abilities via the Kroxigor so will definitely be trying them now!
Yes we we're chatting on discord I posted on discord after realising the forum is a little quiet right now
