How can we talk about WHFB and not mention Mordheim? First of all, here's some link to some of the existing threads here on LO, dedicated to this magnificent game. Jungleheim: Mordheim in Lustria Pyrates of Karibbean 1 Pyrates of Karibbean 2 Pyrates of Karibbean 3
Last week, in Milano it was held the italian Mordheim main tournament, and a whole sector of the tournament was set in Lustria. The most notable thing (for me) is that WE (as gaming club) were given the honor (a glorious burden, if you will) to organize that part pf the tournament. Here's the Campaign Journal and here we'll have some gaming table, Lustria themed, from the most humble to the most glorious: Spoiler: TABLE 1 Spoiler: TABLE 2 Spoiler: TABLE 3
Milano 2023: italian Mordheim main tournament, generic "classic" tables Spoiler: TABLES 1-2-3 Spoiler: TABLES 4-5-6
Amazing work done! Is that a custom made journal? It looks great! These last two boards are so gorgeous, man! That ziggurat is mindblowing. This might have had some crazy good games played on it, for sure! Grrr, !mrahil
Yep, printed on leather, a ring binder containing the background, all the special rules and the references of the various bands the players were so satisfied that when we will organize our own event, "Mordheim Italy" will let us count as official tournament
I would be delighted to learn more about how you or your friends bought or made that terrain, especially table 3.
Almost every terrain was hand made (with obvious exceptions, as you can see in table 1). Some of them were made by a couple of guys in our association (but i don't know how they did it), some of them are property of the team located in Milan
The jealousy rises! We only have a few Mordheim players in my area. I'm actually working on a Halfling band right now although I also want to build a Witch hunters band... That terrain and campaign journal look awesome. What is your main warband?
I always lived their models but the lack of speed kept me from playing them. My main warband is Marienburg as I love hiring mercs for my mercs. I highly recommend the Tilean Marksman who has done so well for me that others in my group have gone out and found one for their bands.
That is some impressive terrain. I have added a tag for Mordheim; at least its used in one thread However, I am wondering if the inventors knew when they named the game, that it means "Murder Home" in Norwegian.
Someone probably told them when they sent it to legal, to do research, before filing for trademark and copyright. And I bet they said, “sweet!”
Pretty sure i've already posted this one, but i don't recall where... and given this has become the main and only mordheim thread, it's better to repost it here. One of our gaming tables: the Arena
