Great looking unit there. I would love to see close ups of indidividual models. I would also love to know your recipe since I'm looking for a similar color scheme for my Spear Saurus. Impressive work to say the least, looking forward to seeing more .
Thanks a lot everyone! The more I read, the more I get motivated to paint! Unfortunately, I've been paint the bastard children of Chaos (Beastmen!) but I did take the time to snap a quick pick of my first Salamander. Unsure about the color scheme, what you do all think? Thanks for looking, -Div
That's a damn fine looking army Div - love the albino Sally, incredible job. Are you a 'Eavy Metal painter on the side? 49.
I'm glad you guys liked the salamander! I've been doing a lot of work but not taking very many pictures. Here is another small update. Sorry for the pics, had to use the cell: Old Blood : 24 Saurus done:
Haha, thanks!!! Got a quick couple shots off before I lost the sun on the Old Blood: Super proud of that guy, can't wait to bust him out! -Div
Awesome Job on that oldblood scale work on the shield looks badass with the white the scales on the actual model look really good as well keep it up
Thanks ! I see the Lizardmen as "holy warriors" of some sort and I think white is the perfect color for that. I've finished my 1k list for Adepticon, now it's time to make a display board (After I paint a few more beastmen =/). Here is an updated pic of the saurus: Also a pic of my skink priest. The base has since been cleaned up: I'll try and snap a shot of the second salamander and light permitting a group shot. Thanks for looking. -Div
we should be thanking you for posting - these minis just blow me away, excellent job! is that the Priest from the Stegadon? 49.
Thanks for the compliments, they inspire me to keep on painting! Yes, that is the priest from the stegadon. He has a really fun pose. Here is salamander #2: Thanks for looking! -Div
...thank you for that! I've been wondering how to P&M my fledgling Lizzie army, that your words just made it all fall into place. I owe you one! And I of course agree with the rest of the guys about your work, it's amazing. I'd love to know how you did the Saurus' bases... and, you know, anything else you wanna share about your techniques! Cheers mate and once again - stunning stuff, can't wait for more!
Those bases are spectacular! That's the effect I'm trying to get, but not quite reaching. All around fantastic minis, too. --DF2K
