I am new to all this, but I have got to try that swimming Troglodon idea!
Beautiful colors and nice highlights, I like it!
I know this is a Troglodon thread, but wow! I love your Skink Oracle
Here's our blind dino. If only its strenght could match its beauty…
Yeah it is a really nice model. I like it a lot.
Good paintjob as well!
Here is my troglodon
I love the dark belly and the orange scales. Great combination!
Nice colorful base.
Some outstanding Trogs.
Prof I like your pale albino trog, and Aginor I love the colour fade on the face and neck.
Here’s my custom troglodon. Hope you like it.
Hello there. First post here after I was looking at so many beautiful painted minis in the last months. Enjoy.
Wow! Beautiful base and an awesome paint job! Well done
Welcome! Thats a nice model!
Looks like the Spinosaurus from Jurassic Park. I might have to steal that
This is properly the best Troglodon i have ever seen. Amazing work with the Oracle and base aswell as the paint job itself.
Edit: I have to ask since i have yet to even build mine, but how did you make that helmet?
well the helmet is kinda simple, just a brass like metal basecolor, with 2 coats of lighter gold tones over it. Painted after that the jewels back white and used the GW ruby-stone Color (I forgot the Name of). Last I used normal Nuln Oil wash (a bit diluded in water). But i guess most of the effect in the Picture is from the lightsource ^^
What fluff reason would a troglodon have to be super colorful?
It doesn't seem to have any natural predators he might need to ward off with poison warnings, and any mate he'd like to attract is blind...
Well in AoS the dinosaurs can take on the colouration of the Slann that summoned them.
I was wondering how you made the helmet itself, i do not believe it is part of the base kit?
