So these guys have had their two white coats



And these guys I finally finished the first white coat



Which means I just need to do one more white coat and then it's done with the Fireborn priming and I can get back onto doing the flames which is far easier and more rewarding in terms of results.

So, Covid is not fun. Spent a week under and I'll spare the details.

When I felt up to it, I did some painting but it was surprising how much it affected motor controls in that I was kind of shaky while trying to paint.

I made some progress: Finished doing all of the double white undercoating (thank GOD) and did the flame effects on four of the Fireborn.

We're getting there!

Right, so that's everyone done with flame effects (last two done last night).

So need to redo the black armour, highlight and then do basing. Then onto the Bull Centaurs!

Right, so re-did the black sections of the Fireborn's armour in preparation for dry-brushing and did the first steps on their bases for the lava effect.

Okay, had a painting spurt last night. I did the drybrushing of the Fireborn armour which I absolutely love. It really makes the model pop.

Then I did the lava effect base and PVA glue layer (before the mordant earth)





After drying





Will do the Mordant Earth tonight and then they'll be finished!

I think I'll do my Bull Centaurs. Gotta do some research for painting flesh as I've never done that right before.
