Thanks, it is an improvement for sure. At minimum it is unused mini changed to mini priced at about 30-50 bucks
Darn, I completely forgot! It's orctober! Last year I did whole greenskin kill team and I wanted to make Kommandos kill team this year. Well, I at least found single mini I will do so I don't skip it entirely.
It does! I already started pinwashing bolts and hard edges. Then just paint details and add tracks and searchlight.
Another wave of casting. New plaster is different from previous one, so first molds went not so well, but I managed to find the way in the end. I should have enough to finish house and make some nice accesories, like modular cobblestone fence.
4 more plague marines finished. So far I have 7, but it is still not useable in single unit (as I have three leaders and too many special weapons).
After looking at plaster house project for the last week, today I decided that it is too tall for such a small house and decided to scrap 1 inch of height. Second floor will be attic, but it will look better. And since I used PVA to glue it, I basically just dipped old brush in water and put it between bricks to get them apart. I also made second wall and rest of the chimney, so tomorrow I should be able to sand those walls 45 degrees and start working on roof.
I´ll be at modellers club today, so I prepared few things to work on. GUO base is ready for some speedpaint: For last couple of days, I assembled couple of plague marines I was missing to get one range and one melee squad. Bonus is Noxious blightbringer in middle, kitbashed from spare plague marine from poxwalker sprue, plague marine parts and blightking parts. Here is complete list of my plague marines so far. I am missing only one melta and two bubotic weapons to be satisfied. I´ll try to make those from those spare poxwalker sprues and spare parts. Then I will have single untouched box of plague marines to future when I will actually play the game I try it all out. To think that from all of this, I only have 7 painted so far... kinda dreading.
Great Unclean One is finished. Not really proud to say, that no part of model is original GW. model is second hand 3D print, nurglings are some chinese recasts and terrain is from Mantic. On the other side, my original rhino has some work done too. I finished pinwashing all rivets and panels, painted all hull details and only missing are tracks (primed) and additional searchlight (missing only light painting).
Damn, his hand is empty! I found that odd initially and thought about putting dead marine there, but I completely forgot a out that until friend pointed out that he's smiling like he found a treasure, but his hand is empty... Back to the drawing board...
