So... I reprimed models and wanted to preshade them when I found out that I left paints at home Then I realised that I am sitting on about third of all my spare bits that are not from big dinos and I decided to do what I should have done months ago. Astrolith bearer cnversion from start collecting I need to get additional bits from home, but what do you guys think so far?
I wanted to do it "default way" (meaning same way as in "how to get most of SC" thread), but I need all my drums, so original idea it is: Also, I have my paints at work, so today is gonna be a good day
Thank you I bet on nobody looking too close I had to wipe dust on shelves today, so I at least took badly lit photo of collection so far. About 5 months of painting at one place
Work continues. Both Astrolith and first five warriors are finished. And I also primed second batch of five warriors. Thank you both, I am really glad for speedpaint solution, otherwise it would have taken me at least same time period, but with 1-2 hours of painting every day
Nice astrolith! I appreciate how well you painted those feathers. And of course I am always a fan of green-painted saurus warriors too
Thank you, that is why I love speedpaints, it makes transitions really effortless. If you like green warriors, then you are in for a ride, because there will be 30 of them ... yup, my blog is going to get really repetitive soon
Nice work man! great pace of painting models, they look very good together! two drummers and two banners, it is quite a party unit Grrr, !mrahil
Thanks, that is because paint scheme is really basic. No shenanigans, just single coat and move on. I really hope that composition is correct for AOS, each group of 5 there is drummer and banner. Could somebody confirm that?
That is correct by the book at least, and I don't think that is something that is usually adjusted. I also love the colour scheme, really nicely done.
I bloody hope not, because I am not keeping track of which paints I mixed in case I need more Thank you.
I finished priming second unit of warriors when I realized that I might need Alpha if I decide to run them as separate unit. So I quickly bashed one from parts at hand and primed him as well. Work was still loading on PC, so I wanted to at least prepare tools for lunchbreak... I looked for my drybrush and couldnĀ“t find it, so in half a hour I basically cleaned and reorganized my whole cubicle looking for it. Of course it was in brush holder, it just fell a bit down and between longer brushes Here is progress photo and on-topic brush holder from workshop spare parts.
